Description

Onion (Allium cepa L.) belongs to the family Alliaceae is one of the most important vegetables. It contains some important vitamins (A, B and B2) and minerals (Ca, P, Fe, Cu and Zn) in addition to some soluble sugars and nicotinic acid. It is grown from seeds, transplants or sets, for both green and dry bulbs .
